 Dear Neighbor,

It’s that time of year again – the annual campaign for the Granby Community Fund. The fund continues with its mission of coordinating town wide fundraising efforts into a single annual fundraising campaign.  This means a minimum of fundraising intrusions into your busy life, while affording you the opportunity of supporting our Town’s various charitable organizations.  The Granby Community Fund is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, organization that for over fifty years has coordinated the support for our community.

To see a list of the organizations that depend on your support, together with the services they provide to Granby, click here.   A new organization that we are supporting this year is the Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen a new non-profit organization in town providing free meals once a week in Granby Center.  We are also increasing our contribution to the Emergency Fuel Bank to support households in need.  We need your caring donations in order to provide their needed funding. 

With many Granby citizens feeling the effects of the economic downturn, the need for support from the community is even greater than ever this year!  Our 2011 campaign goal is $97,500.  You can contribute by:

·             Contributing online at www.granbycommunityfund.org secure online donation using Paypal.

·             Mailing your check with the form on page 2 below to the Granby Community Fund.

·             Selecting Granby Community Fund on your United Way pledge form Account Code:  5076 ~ Listing will be under Hartford not      Granby.

·             Checking to see if your employer offers a matching gift and submitting the proper form to the Granby Community Fund.
